Our Mission
The California Thirumurai & Thiruppugazh Group is dedicated to spreading the beauty of arulālargaḷ pādalgaḷ—including Thirumurai, Thevaaram, Thiruvaasagam, and Thiruppugazh—to the wider community. Our goal is to make these sacred Tamil scriptures accessible to everyone across the world, by presenting them in multiple language scripts.

This site is developned in PHP and MySQL and hosted in ionos cloud. Going forward this site will be maintained by community support. Whoever is contributing more time will lead the development efforts. We are not expecting donation for the website maintenance or development.

Local Activities
- Temple Recitations: We recite Thirumurai and Thiruppugazh at local temples during special occasions such as Pradhosam, Krithikai, and Chathurthi
- Thiruvaasagam Mutrothal: We are blessed to conduct Thiruvaasagam Mutrothal in Bay Area temples and other community spaces.
-Weekly Online Sessions: Every week from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Pacific Time, we host online recitations.
- Practice Classes: Online classes are available for those who wish to learn and practice Thiruvaasagam. To join the California Thirumurai WhatsApp Group, send a message to: +001-925-6O3-3I93.

Approximately 6 hours.
🏠 What arrangements are needed?
- Space for at least 10 people
- Optional items: Shiva Lingam, Kailasanathar photo, Natarajar photo, or statues
- Simple lunch, snacks, or tea for devotees
🙏 What will we bring?
- 10 to 20 devotees for the Mutrothal
- A few Thiruvaasagam books in Tamil (online versions available in other languages)
